Treating Major DepressionThe case study presented in this article demonstrates the effectiveness of feminist therapeutic principles applied in the combined intervention model of cognitive-behavioral therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy. The author developed a collaborative-team approach in an eight-session course of treatment for women who suffer from major depression that illustrates this approach.
