Drama as a Consciousness-Raising Strategy for the Self-Empowerment of Working WomenThis article reports the experience of presenting a problem-focused play about work/family conflict to audiences of women and managers. It focuses on an evaluation of the audience groups' and student-actors' reactions to the play and explores the relationships among drama, consciousness raising, and self-empowerment of working women. The uses of drama in feminist social work practice are suggested.
